The British Values Definition Activity
The British Values Definition activity challenges individuals to race against the clock to match the correct terms and images to their definitions.
Individuals quickly develop knowledge of the fundamental British Values that underpin what it means to be a citizen in a modern and diverse Great Britain.
Solid- RAR Workshop: Primary
This workshop raises awareness of radicalisation by:
- Promoting an understanding of negative choices made by those with an extremist mindset and the wider impact
- Challenging extremist rhetoric
- Promoting critical thinking skills
- Promoting awareness of the key drivers and susceptibilities that might cause an individual to become vulnerable to radicalisation
This extended version takes a deeper look into vulnerability:
- What is vulnerability?
- How do we know when we are vulnerable?
- What do we do when we are feeling vulnerable?
This workshop supports and promotes the attributes of British Values and acts as a tool to counter radicalisation.
Delivery method: Students are given a username and password to access the workshop via an online platform
Course duration: 1 hour 30 minutes
Audience: Year 6 primary school aged students (10 & 11 years old)

- Provide individuals with tools to help them to understand, regulate and manage their emotions.
- Provide individuals with tools to utilise their critical thinking skills, to build resilience and reject prejudice, hatred, and extremism.
- Provide individuals with the tools to develop empathy.
- Provide access to tools that raise awareness and promote discussions on the topic of radicalisation and terrorism.

Radicalisation definitions game
The Radicalisation Definitions Game will promote awareness of the terms and language used in discussions relating to radicalisation and terrorism. Players work their way through 10 levels while racing against the clock. On completion, players would have amassed a bank of 80 terms and definitions relating to radicalisation, violent extremism, and terrorism.
Ideologies Game
The Ideologies game will help users to recognise the harmful ideas, theories and mindsets that can lead them into uncomfortable and dangerous situations. Individuals work their way through 12-levels and develop critical thinking skills while having their attitudes challenged.
The Resilience Game
The Resilience Game can be used as an intervention tool to safeguard, tackle, and reduce the risk of individuals becoming radicalised. It does this by addressing the identified main areas of susceptibility that may cause individuals to become involved in radicalisation
and violent extremist groups.
The Resilience Game will upskill users with essential knowledge to protect themselves and each other from involvement in extremist groups.
This game will enable individuals to:
- Build resilience against radicalisation and extremism.
- Identify and reject prejudice and hatred.
- Develop and practice critical thinking skills.
- Help individuals understand the consequences of yielding to peer pressure.
- Help individuals have a better understanding of the ripple effects of negative choices and the resulting wider consequences.
- Think critically about the information that they receive and recognise the dangers of biased messaging.
- Practice and develop empathy.
- Identify the harmful opportunities that are disguised and presented as positive. For example, an opportunity to:
